研究概要 / Introduction
当研究室では、筋肉・骨・脂肪などの幹細胞や前駆細胞を対象に、ロコモティブ・シンドロームやメタボリック・シンドロームの予防や治療に有用な独自の創薬シーズを研究しています。生物学・医学・農学が融合する領域で、幹細胞生物学の智識と手法を駆使して生命現象を探求し、健康長寿社会への貢献を目指します。
We are studying the unique drug seeds using stem cells and precursor cells of muscle, bone, and fat to prevent and recover motor disorders and metabolic syndrome. Our research is going on the fields of biological, medical, and agricultural sciences with the techniques of stem cell biology in order to contribute to healthspan.
